Hi @Mohammed Asslahi , by default the Reporter will be set to the individual that created. Is this not what you are seeing?

in any event here is an automation that would set the Reporter to Creator. You can change to meet your full requirements.

Hi @Mohammed Asslahi and welcome to the community,

Run a rule like the following one:

edit reporter.png

You have to make sure that the actor who runs this rule has the modify reporter permission.

Hi @Mohammed Asslahi -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

What problem are you trying to solve by doing this?  That is, why do this?

The reporter field defaults to the person who is creating the issue.  Thus it is likely the person creating the issue intentionally set the reporter to someone else...such as a requesting person.

Kind regards,
Bill
