Hi,
We recently did an upgrade from a very out-dated 4.3 Jira to 6.0.6 (via 5.x). When clicking on "Agile" the "Manage Boards" screen is shown with the following message in a red box at the bottom:
An error occurredHide…
Please try refreshing the page, or contact your administrator / Atlassian Support if the problem continues.
Details
- Exception: TypeError: projectKey is null
- Resource: http://jira.internal.com/secure/ManageRapidViews.jspa
- Line: 347
Environment
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.8; rv:30.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/30.0
Thank you both for the quick replies. We actually tracked down the issue to a piece of javascript which had been put in the site banner prior to the upgrade and was knocking out the newer Jira JS APIs. Removed that code and everything started working as expected.
Hi James,
I believe that one of your issues might be missing the project value in the jiraissue table.
In order to investigate this further, can you please open a ticket at https://support.atlassian.comso we can verify exactly what may be causing this?
Cheers

Hi James,
Are you using multiple projects in the filters behind the board?
Do you know which project key seems to be null?
Can you find more information in your jira log file ?
Best regards,
Peter
