How can i import bulk attachments from redmine to jira?

->while importing attachments through csv file getting this below exception 

An exception occurred dealing with "<attachment.url>"

->is there any other way to import attachmnets directly from redmine to jira(External system import)

->How can i enable authentication of redmine if i want to import attachments through given example url https://redmine.example/attachments/ex.gif

Thank you for reaching out.

The behavior you're facing is happening because the attachment files are not publicly accessible, something required when importing attachments to Jira Cloud application. In fact, it is not possible to export attachments from Redmine directly to a Jira Cloud site.

That being said, you must follow the steps below to properly import your attachments from Redmine:

  1. Export your attachments to any public storage that your Jira Cloud site can access, using HTTP and HTTPS protocols.
  2. Update the CSV file with the new host addresses of the attachments
  3. Import the CSV file
