I want to add custom field to view the KEY value.

I want add a custom field named "Key" and I want to populate the Key value in that custom field.

For example: When I create a Issue I am getting the Key value after the issue creation but I want to view the Key value in a field at the time of issue creation

 

I want Key value to view at the time Create itself. Is it possible in JSM ??

Hi Guru,

Where is it that you want to display this information? What are the steps you are doing and when do you want to populate this custom field? And why do you want a separate field and not just show the Key? 

The Key will not be generated until you create the issue. Then you can have an automation rule that copies the value of the key into the custom field based on an Issue Created trigger.
