GitHub hooks not created automatically for new repository

Ankur January 21, 2020

I am using JIRA 8.5.3 with Jira DVCS Connector Plugin - 5.2.6.

I created the DVCS connection with GitHub Enterprise. When DVCS connector is added in JIRA, it created hooks in GitHub for each repository. The hook got created with wrong payload url though (see known issue). However I updated the url manually and the connection works fine thereafter.

I am facing another problem now. When I create a new repository now in GitHub, the expectation is that the jira hook will be created automatically under that repository. However, this is not happening. "Automatically sync all repositories" option was always enabled in JIRA DVCS configuration.

The workaround is to login to JIRA and then do a manual 'Refresh repositories' but then this will have to be done whenever a new repository gets created in GitHub.

Is this another known issue with Jira DVCS Connector Plugin - 5.2.6 ?
