We disabled the CREATE button for a project because their workflows have a lot of automation which gets skipped if they don't use the portal.
But this also disables the "Create Subtask" option from the MORE menu. You can click it and fill out the form, but the final create button stays grayed out.
Is there a way to disable the CREATE button but allow for the creation of subtasks?
If not, what would the workaround be...some kind of workflow transition that pulls the current ticket number and creates a subtask linked to it?
Any suggestions are welcomed. Thank you.
Hi Nancy,
The Create permission applies to all issues, not just certain types. You might try putting some conditions or validators on the Create transition in your workflow to control what can be created.
