Cannot see Developer section in the JIRA ticket

Hi,

 

I've connected my JIRA account to GitHub repos using Marketplace app (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1219592/github-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview). 

However I do not see 'Development' field in my Jira tickets.

When looking at the 'Fields' configuration for my project, I see that 'Development' field is locked. Can you please explain why this might be happening.

I currently have a free account.

Hi @Liza Logounova,

Welcome to the Community!

I'm pretty sure this document will help explain things:

Basically, you will need to have access to a Jira Software license, and you will need the "View Development Tools" permission in the project that you are looking to be able to see the "Development" field in Jira issues.
