associate jira issues with code

Joe Sternlicht June 8, 2015

When JIRA hosted svn, we were able to see in an issue all the changes associated with that issue. What are using cloud version. We moved to our own svn server. What are our options? Do we need to move to bitbucket and will doing that show all the changes for a JIRA issue inside of JIRA, or inside of bitbucket? Can we use fisheye with our own svn server and tie changes to JIRA issues? Do we need to go to crucible and if so can we still use our own svn server or do we need to go to bitbucket?

Hi @javajoe,

Bitbucket only hosts Git repositories, so you will not be able to use it to host your SVN repositories.

Your best option is to add your repositories into FishEye, then integrate FishEye with your JIRA Cloud instance by following this document.

You can use your own server if your server can be accessed from the internet. Otherwise you can move to Bitbucket and then this document will apply: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/Cloud/Getting+started+with+Bitbucket+and+JIRA+Cloud
