Hello everyone! Welcome to another edition of Community Release Notes, aka goodies from our development team to you, our beloved users. Let's get to it!
Updated: Today we released some updates to the local create form, which hopefully will make it easier for users to create informative questions and for answerers to provide relevant answers. You may remember we rolled this out for the global form in March, and now it will be on questions created locally (within product collections) as well. Has it changed your life yet?
Updated: We made several adjustments related to performance speed and cacheing. Our power users should see the most improvement in speed, but our overall speed should be on the upswing as well! Let us know if you notice a difference… or not.
New: In response to community feedback, we’ve added Non-profit as an option for Industry in your profile. That's right, non-profit folks, you no longer work for Other Industry! Update this by visiting your profile page and select Non-profit from the dropdown.
New: There is a new badge category for Answers posted and the first badge was already released, as you may have seen:
This is different from Accepted solutions and intended to reward all those who answer questions! This series will be rolling out retroactively, so keep an eye on the badge-challenge tag and this space right here to learn more in the coming days.
Thank you to the development team and to all of you for being here! Cheers! 🍸
