I am trying to change a password for my jira account in postgresql databse. I followed this procedure https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira/retrieving-the-jira-administrator-192836.html
but couldn't get required help. How can I generate that hash code for the new passowrd.
Hey Tom, Thanks that worked, It might be the reason that the account was not active and I have tested on another account and it worked.
I have changed that but couldn't able to login. I have restarted jira after the change

Not sure what you mean by "couldn't get required help but changing the password to uQieO/1CGMUIXXftw3ynrsaYLShI+GTcPS4LdUGWbIusFvHPfUzD7CZvms6yMMvA8I7FViHVEqr6Mj4pCLKAFQ== will change the password to sphere.
And you need to restart Jira after this change.
