Mahalakshmi Sivasamy September 30, 2019

We are about to upgrade few third party plugins in jIRA 8.1.

How to check if the 3rd party plugin is accessing any personal information?

@Mahalakshmi Sivasamy @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- is right there is no way on server plugin to know what plugins are accessing.

But important thing here is almost all server plugin keep data on your own server. So even if they are accessing any information they are not taking outside your site/premise.

If you have plugin that are attached to external services like CI Tools, Reporting etc, they can access your data, but you can confirm this very easily by looking at list of plugins.

There's no way to know what a plugin is accessing, unless you get the code for it.  You'll need to ask the authors of each plugin.
