Crowd SSO same domain

Hi!

We have the following setup:

https://xxx.mydomain.com/crowd
https://zzz.mydomain.com/jira
https://zzz.mydomain.com/confluence

entering "mydomain.com" or ".mydomain.com." is not accepted in the SSO domain field.

According to this info, a combination of example 1 and 2 doesn't seem to be possible ?
