Hello,
I've created several confluence pages on Confluence Cloud. I've added "include-excerpt" and the content renders perfectly when using any desktop browser. However, when viewing the pages on a Samsung Note phone or an Iphone 10, the "include-excerpt" do not render.
Note that on my mobile devices I've tried rendering the pages with include-excerpt in the following modes: desktop mode, mobile mode and confluence Mobile, and all modes fail to render the include-excerpt on my mobile devices.
Thanks for your help.
The "old" page viewing experience supports the full rendering of macros.
EDIT: The iOS app's old page viewing experience even improves on the desktop view: A table of contents macro on the parent page includes headers from child excerpts. On desktop these are not shown.
@Patrick Matthews I haven't used the mobile app, but I found this Knowledgebase article that might help or give you a place to look through related documentation: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-allow-confluence-mobile-to-render-a-macro-302812237.html

Thank you @Barbara Szczesniak the fix in your link is not applicable to the build-in macros for confluence. The article instructs macro developers how-to build macros that will render on mobile devices. I'm trying to render a confluence native macro called "include_excerpt" on mobile devices. Thanks again!

Hi - I hope that you are Doing good !!
Try to paste an Excerpt Include macro to a newly created custom template on our test Cloud instance, made a page using this template and everything works just fine for me.
Maybe you use our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app? Try to do the same with its Table Excerpt Include macro that is an advanced version of the standard macro - it also should be working fine.
Hope this helps and happy to assist further !!
Thank you very much and have a fantastic day!
Warm regards

Hi VJ - Thank you for your response. I'm still not able to get the Include_excerpt macro to render on mobile devices, even after trying on a newly created custom template. and I don't know how to access your test Cloud instance.
regarding Table Filter and Charts app... this looks interesting, but I would like to get the native functionality for include_excerpt working prior to ventuing out to a paid fix.
If you can point me to your "test Cloud instance" then I'd love to test it there.
