attachments macro - upload attachments only in edit mode

Hello,

Is it possible to force the attachements upload only in the edit mode?

I have a wiki in which users could create and add document via template.
In the template users could attach document, but I would like to set the properties of the {attachments} macro to allow only people that create the document to upload documents.
In other words...I would like to have the "allow uplod" field available only in edit mode. Users that view the documents (but did not create it) could only download attachments.

Thanks for your time and help,

Margherita

Hi Margherita,

I believe in Confluence cloud you cannot customize the instance to remove links such as the attachments. probably in a standalone you could develop some plugin or change the layout of the page to remove the attachments upload button and leave just the attachments upload when editting the page.

I'll leave this question open since others may have some additional idea for this.

Cheers,

Rodrigo
