Users are still receiving email notifications even when users email settings have been unticked

Hi all,

Small issue - We're in the process of setting up many new spaces, adding hundreds of pages etc etc. Obviously users don't want their inbox spammed yet for some reason, even though all boxes in 'Email Settings' (user profile settings) have been unticked, users are still receiving notification emails.

How can we stop this? Ideally we don't want to have to disable the function, just let users now how they can stop receiving emails they don't want.

Hi Ben,

No matter what settings you select or unselect in the user profile, you'll still get mails if you're watching pages or spaces, or following people.  The following links explain more, including how to "unwatch" and "unfollow":
