Sections and dynamically generated content

we use the "Section" macro to in some of our pages.
So we can have content side by side.

This works fine, unless we use a user generated macro that dynamically adds a table to the page.

Then the section is ignored and the generated table is below.

The user macro writes the table with jquery into a <div>

Is there a way to have dynamically generated content side-by-side?

Any help would be appreciated.
Please tell me if I need to be more specific.

Please go ahead and post the user macro here so I can add it to my test instance and see how it behaves. That way I can experiment with the table that is added by the macro, and how it displays with sections.
