Hey there @Prathim Mukherjee!

You're probably running into this issue:

One of the more frustrating things about this situation is that when a site is accidentally created, it probably is created at the free tier, so you can't actually easily file a Support ticket for it.

What I've been doing is upgrade the accidentally created site, then request cancellation, and THEN file a support ticket asking Atlassian to expedite cancellation and deletion so I can also delete the new Organization that gets created. (We've had over 60 created since last May. It's incredibly frustrating.)

Good luck!

Hello @Prathim Mukherjee

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

The person that created the site by subscribing to a product can cancel their subscription.

If the creation of this site also created an Organization that you want to remove, than additional steps will be necessary.

@Trudy Claspill brings up a great point.

My suggestion that you upgrade and then cancel the subscription presumes that you subscribe to Atlassian Guard and are able to Join the product as an admin.

If this is not the case, then you'll need to do as Trudy suggests and ask the person to cancel the site themselves.
