We could have different possibilities for issues related to content not saving, Gina. For example, specific content avoiding it to be saved, configurations on Confluence, the browser used...
It might be worth to check if this is happening with all the users of your instance, with other pages and also if you have recently applied any specific modification on the instance environment. Better than that: Give a try to check for the symptoms of your atlassian-confluence.log file, located in the Application data directory of the instance, if you are running a server version of Confluence.
Once you have this, if you are still not sure on what it could be, try to raise a new ticket with us (https://support.atlassian.com) so we can help you to fix it.
