Is there a way to use a page properties key value (or some other variable value) to auto-populate a template's page title?

Barb Zivney June 22, 2016

Example...

Page Properties Macro Table:

Project NameProject XYZ
Kickoff Date

Template to create project requirements, or project minutes, or etc, creates page titles based on the "Project Name" value:

Project XYZ - Minutes

Project XYZ - Requirements

If not off the page properties macro, is there some other variable that can be used to populate page names automatically?

Hi Barb,

Our Add-on Page Tree Creator can do such things. Use a PTC-tag __Project Name__ in the template title and on the template page. Place a PTC Default Value macro in the page tree and you have this funktionality.

Try our Live Examples (no registration needed). Test Example Create Project and then create a Meeting Minutes. Check out the project leader name.

Marketplace link: Page Tree Creator.

Regards,
Stephan
