Hello gurus,
I am starting/take over testing migration proccess and facing issues with historically synced user.
I need to disable/unsync them so I can delete them, but when I am trying to disable them getting lovely error:
User "XXXXX" could not be disabled. The directory may be read-only.
We have removed LDAP sync but still can't disable them.
Have read trough forums, support cases but couldn't find solution.
Maybe somebody has had expierence on this and can help on this topic.
@Emils Rudbahs Welcome to the Atlassian Community
If you have users that are syncing through LDAP you should just be able to remove them from the group your are syncing the application against and this will remove them from the directory when you run the LDAP sync again.
You can learn more about this here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-29510
@Brant Schroeder I am new to Attlassian management. I took over this from our previous specialist, who left the company and unfortunetaly the issue is that all OU is beeing synced to our Confluence server
Sync with LDAP has been removed by previous specialist when migrated JIRA to CLOUD enviroment.
Is there possibility to overwrite/ force unsync/disable users?
