How do I bulk assign a label to multiple pages under a parent page? I have created a label but there are 100 existing pages that need to be tagged with this label.
Welcome to the community!
There are actually quite a few label apps for Confluence Cloud, with differing feature sets. I can only speak with certainty on Magic Labels which has a bulk action feature that lets you add/remove/rename labels on all pages under a parent page – I like it a lot, but I also work at Polymetis Apps, so I'm slightly biased.
It might also be worth your time to Confluence automation – while it does not support bulk operations just yet, it can still be used to automatically label individual pages in certain circumstances. Also, if the Jira version of automation is anything to go by, rules that take CQL results as an input cannot be too far off.
EDIT: I was stupid and a colleague was nice enough to point it out. You can totally run automations on CQL results, so if this is a one time thing, you most likely can get by without an app, just by using automation. Here's how:
Hope that helps,
Oliver
Hi Oliver,
Do you have the CQL write out so i can see what that looks like? i'm trying to do this one time. I have another rule for updating it when a page is published.
Thanks,
Kristen

You need to use third party app called "Label Manager for Confluence" from the marketplace https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1212110/label-manager-for-confluence?tab=overview&hosting=cloud. With the help of this plug-in you can bulk add labels to multiple pages.
Please refer doc: https://kostebekteknoloji.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/LMFC/pages/473137179/Add+Bulk+Labels+to+Child+Page+Cloud for this Plug-in and how to bulk add labels to multiple pages/child pages.
Thank you,
Ashish

Hi @Neha Nadkarni, welcome to the community!
Can you tell us what platform you are on? Are you using Confluence Cloud or a hosted version? Unless you want to choose a programmatical approach using the REST API, you will have to look for a suitable app on the Atlassian Marketplace.
There are also open product suggestions you can vote on:
