How do I have a change in status (red yellow green) reflect on other pages, reports or tables?

Randal October 7, 2019

I would like a status (red yellow green) from one page to be reflected on another page so that I do not have to keep track of manually updating statuses for multiple projects.

Hello @Randal

You can store Status macro within Excerpt macro and include it into other pages using Excerpt Include macro.

Thanks for the reply Andrey

I will try again but

I tried that without much luck...I inserted the Status macro inside the frame of the excerpt frame/border/ and tried "call" it on another page

Are there limitations to using excerpt in a table...as I said I will try again in the meantime without a table to see if anything changes

As far as I know, it should work inside a table. Are you going to reuse this Status macro within the same page or on other pages only? Excerpt Include macro can't include content from the same page, but there are alternatives exist.
