How can I save the contents of a form in Confluence

Myles Karam June 16, 2016

I have created a form on a page in confluence. How can the information be stored when hitting submit? Where is this information stored? How can I access and/or retrieve this information.

Note: I do not want to buy plugins

That's not going to work then.  To store data on a Confluence page, you have to edit it.

You can use the html macros to put dynamic data on a page, but it's not a lot of use - your users need to edit the page to persist changes.

If you want Confluence to behave more like a form based application than a wiki, you'll need add-ons.
