Hello there!
I've been given the task of being the Atlassian tools admin in my company, even though I have little knowledge about it. Everything is installed and running properly.
In Confluence's Instance health checks, I noticed that the Problems detected section mentions a problem in the Collation and Character Set. I checked the db and this is what I have:
| Variable_name | Value |
+------------------------+----------+
| character_set_database | utf8 |
| collation_database | utf8_bin |
+------------------------+----------+
Mysql version is 5.7.31 and Confluence 6.11.2.
Is this a reason for concern? Should I try to fix this and make the problems disappear, even though everything seems to working fine?
I'm about to upgrade Confluence in the staging environment (before doing it in production), so if there's something to be done, now it would be a good time to do it.
Thanks!
Hi Community! We're thrilled to share that Team Calendars for Confluence is now a built-in feature for Confluence Data Center releases 7.11 and beyond. A long time favorite, Team Cale...
