Create link to JIRA *release* in Confluence Edited

The JIRA Issue macro can be used in Confluence to link to an issue in JIRA.

Is there a way to create a similar automatic link in Confluence that links to a release in JIRA?

That is, link to the page that is the release page for e.g. version 10.2.4 of product ABC. Better that this version can be linked using the release identifier 10.2.4 rather than the random identifier 75461.

+1, I'd also appreciate a macro for this

You could only link as a regular external web page as there is no macro specific to Releases.

Have a nice day!

I'd vote for a Issue Macro equivalent for Versions.

In the meantime, this may be a viable workaround:

Have the same need to place a link in Confluence to a specific Jira Release version.

+5 (Me and colleagues who want it) :)
