Confluence task report for tasks on a page, not those on its children

Jessica Weissman May 31, 2018

I need a task report to roll up tasks on a page, but not include tasks on its child pages.

Nothing in the documentation says that tasks on child pages are included, but they are.

How can I avoid this, short of moving the child pages to another parent?

We're in 6.3 if that makes any difference.

Thanks.

You could give your parent page a specific label and not the child pages. Then limit the task report macro to that label. Would that work for you?

Probably - I forgot about that parameter.

Yes, that works.  But the documentation should be changed.

It's not particularly intuitive that including a page includes its children, though I can see the arguments for either way.  The documentation should say it explicitly, I think.
