I read and re-read the instructions in the help section of Confluence cloud for using the Whiteboard functions with Sticky notes. It would be great if those instructions matched what I am seeing. I cannot change the color or create Jira stories from the sticky notes. There is no mini toolbar that comes up when I left or right-click on the note to add bullets, change color, or create a Jira. I don't get it.
Ok based on the results from the Incognito test in Chrome - I reset by browser to default which cleared all cookies and settings, and disabled any extentions; completly logged out of my Atlassian accounts; closed all browser sessions, then opened a new Chrome window. Proceeded like normal through SSO, logged back into Confluence, and the mini bar was there. I then proceeded to add back one extention at a time, logging in and out in between each one, then checking if the minibar disappeared (it didn't) - all my extentions are up except for my Stands pop up blocker which is most likely the culprit, dispite me listing Confluence as a whitelisted site.
TL:DR If you are having the same problem, reset your browser to default settings (or at least clear cookies and cache for at least 6 months back, and disable any extentions, especially any pop up blockers), log out and then back in, and the problem should resolve. Another option, if it is avaible to you based on your company's policies, is to use an Incognito browser, or another browser altogether.
@Camille J Onderlinde Bowens Do you know if your permissions for the whiteboard allow you to edit or just to view? For example, are you able to add a new sticky note?

yep I can add new sticky notes, no problem, it's my own personal board in my company account.

Hi @Camille J Onderlinde Bowens
I tested the behaviour on my end and confirmed that the mini toolbar is available for me as can be seen in the screenshot.
Have you tried to use different browser or refresh the page?

I've restarted my computer even - I still do not get that menu...
