Is there a chance to set a document/site preview in the result list?
When searching for a topic that is split up in different sites (depening on department) it is a bit confusing to figure out which one is the right result.
A previw would be great.
@Petra Cuypers-Oberthuer If you do a quick search, you can then click Advanced Search at the bottom of the search popup to open the same search results in the Advanced view, which displays a small excerpt of the content containing the search terms. See https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/search-for-pages-and-posts/
If you are searching within a space, you can use the All content item in the left navigation (on my space, it is right under my space overview page name). The search results are displayed in little cards with a preview. For details, see https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/decide-how-you-see-pages-in-a-space/
Thanks @Barbara Szczesniak , the small excerpts is a possibility, but that would mean structured first lines on every site.
The All content item does not allow searching for key words, but the cards view is a lot better.
I'll suggest both to the user, let's see where we end up with ;)

@Petra Cuypers-Oberthuer I just went and looked again at the All content and noticed that it only searches within page titles.
I guess what we really want is a way to display the Advanced Search results in the card view.
