Automation rule for moving outdated articles from one page to another

Amit Jerochim October 8, 2020

In confluence we have a space with articles for our customers. As we want to ensure the quality and correctness of each article we would like to review them in fixed time intervals.

We are looking for some kind of automation rules to ensure, that it actually happens.
E.g. automatically move an article from space A to space B if it was not reviewed/updated in the last 30 days.

Thanks Amit

Hi @Amit Jerochim,

This is not possible out of the box but Comala Document Management would meet your needs, see Content expiry workflow.

A free workaround could be to configure the Page tree macro like this:

This way, you could see all of your pages ordered by last modified date and regularly check them.

Hope this helps,

Without moving articles back and forth, the Better Content Archiving app tracks its status  and can turn that to "To review" N days after its last update.

The status can be seen in the top of the page:

...and you can send custom notifications to those who are owners of the content. There are reports, search, etc. to make a complete set of tools to maintain the quality of Confluence pages.

(Discl. this is a popular paid and supported app developed by our team.)
