Email to Confluence

Is there a way to send email to confluence page. So that we can edit, highlight, add or remove the content.

I am asking about this feature because I have subscribed to many useful newsletter. It’s hard to track and revise on email.

Using confluence will make this much easier. Is there any automation available for this?

@Nishant Kant Ojha there is no current email to Confluence functionality that can send an email and content to a specific page in Confluence. However, you can try to accomplish this by subscribing to the newsletter's RSS feed and embedding it in a Confluence page. Although there is no macro that specifically does this, @Daniel Eads from Atlassian describes how it can be done here:

Good luck!

Hello @Nishant Kant Ojha

I am not sure if you would like to track the list of newsletters you are subscribed to or if you would like to create a newsletter archive in Confluence.

In case you would like to archive every newsletter you get in confluence, you could have a look at the How to send emails to Confluence (mailto.wiki).

There is also the feature request [CONFCLOUD-1726] Create space or page from emails to Confluence - Create and track feature requests for Atlassian products. posted, but this seems to be abandoned.

Best regards,

Harald

I jave subscribed to many newsletter from various sources like google, docker, kubernetes, twitter.

I want them all to store in confluence page as making nktes feom email is tough.

So I thought if there is some automation available in confluence to sotre email that i receive on my gmail/outlook

Hello @Nishant Kant Ojha

in this case, I suggest to evaluate the solution offered in How to send emails to Confluence (mailto.wiki). This seems to be intended exaclty for your scenario.

Regards,

Harald
