I have installed the Compass free plan- 8 site admins are automatically added to Compass and as stated I can add unlimited basic users, but while providing access to users - it is throwing max users added to add more users need to upgrade the plan
anyone can help me with this?
Hi @Manikanta Swamy G and @Marc Roberts thanks for sharing this! To dig into this properly, I think the best option is to create a support ticket. Can you please share this issue via the chat bubble in Compass?
I tried but the bot ghosted me, I put in a request a few days ago. Now I've had Compass completely suspended because even though I downgraded to the free plan, I was still getting emails saying "you need to add a payment method". So now I can't even log into Compass to see if there's an update in my chat bubble.
Going to try to sort it out but this is rather frustrating! I had asked in the chat bubble for either my new admin experience to be already rolled out, or for the trial to be extended until we got the new admin experience.

I have this problem as well, cannot for the life of me find out how to do this. I was able to grant free users access to Atlas but Compass does not work the same way. Any ideas @Wayne Dailey ? I tried to view your office hours video but wasn't able to see exactly how to do it.

@Marc Roberts Did anyone from Atlassian help you with this? I have the exact same issue, my site admins used up the free tier for Compass and I can't add anyone as users. @Wayne Dailey can you help?

Hi @Ken Siskind thanks for reaching out! Our support team is probably is best option to help you out with this. Are you still able to log in to Compass? If so, please use the chat bubble to start a support conversation. Please et me know if you cannot access it so I can find another way to help you.

@Ken Siskind what helped us was getting onto the "new version" of Atlassian admin. It's a bit of a change, switching to org admins from site admins, you get a whole new admin interface. It's actually quite good though.
It's only there can you manage your free users for things like Atlas and Compass, you can't manage them through user groups in the "old version" of admin.
Get into a chat bubble and ask for an upgrade to the new admin. They'll do some checks to see if your org can be converted, you might need to tweak a couple of things, and then they'll switch you over. The new version doesn't cost anything, it's just they're rolling out the upgrade gradually, so you'll just have to ask for it ahead of time.
Once I'd gotten through to them it was changed in a couple of days, and now we're able to manage all our free users 👍🏼
