You all must know by now how much we love helping the planet here at Atlassian and on the Atlassian Community. 💙
Every year, Atlassians around the world connect with their teammates to do good in their local communities, and we call this the Week of Good. In partnership with the Atlassian Foundation, this year we are inviting our Atlassian Community to join us in making the holiday season brighter, for the entire month of December!
We’re excited to launch the Atlassian Community’s Month of Good, and there are a number of opportunities to get involved and give back!
1. Global Week of Good Virtual Volunteer Fair
You are welcome to attend the first virtual Global Week of Good Volunteer Fair on December 5th, 10AM PST! Thanks to the Atlassian Foundation, you can learn about virtual volunteer opportunities from three Atlassian Foundation partner organizations working to help young people launch successful careers: CareerVillage, UPchieve, and Braven!
All attendees will receive the exclusive Week of Good Kudos badge for your online community profile → |
|
In support of these great organizations, Atlassian will also be donating $10 for every attendee to EVERY Atlassian Community Event taking place in the month of December!
2. Meet for Trees
Following the success of the Likes for Trees III: We Are The Tree Amigos campaign (with our community we planted a whopping 40,000 trees!), we’re at it again with One Tree Planted!
For every person who RSVPs to an Atlassian Community Event in December, we will plant one tree. 🌳
For every person who attends an event, we’ll plant an additional four trees!
That's FIVE TREES in total!🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳
Attendance will also get you the shiny Meet for Trees Kudos badge on your online community profile → |
And that's in addition to the ACE Attendee badge you already receive!
We encourage all of you to get involved and look forward to seeing our community come together. Use the hashtag #AtlassianCommunityMonthOfGood for any posts you make on social channels, and check out December events and RSVP to start collecting and connecting!
