I am trying to login to my Bitbucket account, which I have not used in a while. I can login to id.atlassian.com fine, which takes me to start.atlassian.com.

However, when I click on Bitbucket, it takes me to bitbucket.org. I then click login and it shows the error message below.

We couldn’t log you in

You may run into this issue when you use specific browsers or add-ons that hide the referer header for id.atlassian.com and other Atlassian sites. Check for these and then try logging in again.

I have tried with Chrome and Firefox, both with incognito, with extensions disabled and the issue still persists.

From other posts, I see that Bitbucket accounts can be marked as "dormant" if they are not used in a while, and need to be re-activated, but I can't find any information on how to reactivate it.

Hello @Dan Greaves ,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

I confirmed your account was in "dormant" state due to the period of inactivity. I went ahead and set it to Active again, so you should now be able to log in as usual. In case you still face any issues, please let us know.

Thank you, @Dan Greaves !
