I am trying to link Jira server 8.5.2 to Bitbucket cloud.
I have followed all instructions, creating the OAuth consumer in Bitbucket and then using the key and secret to link from Jira using a DVCS account but I get the following error:
Invalid OAuth credentials. Check Jira log for more information.
The key and secret are correct but it does not connect.
Is it possible the version or Jira is too old (8.5.2)?
Which Jira log should I be checking for further information?
Hey Tierney,
Firstly, please try the following steps to recreate the connection and try again:
If this does not work - can you make sure you have whitelisted Bitbucket Cloud IPs to make sure the connection is not being dropped before reaching Bitbucket?
https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucket/what-are-the-bitbucket-cloud-ip-addresses-i-should-use-to-configure-my-corporate-firewall-343343385.html
Can you also check your network firewall to see if any connection is being dropped from Jira when Jira makes the API call to Bitbucket for Incoming / Outgoing?
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
- Ben (Bitbucket Cloud Support)
