When trying to delete my Bitbucket account, I get the following message:
"This account is related to active accounts that are set to AUTO-RENEW
This account is the primary billing contact for one or more products.
This account is a technical contact for one or more products.
To continue deleting this account the account owner needs to visit my.atlassian.com and designate a different user as a billing and technical contact."
However, I don't want to create additional billing contacts or whatever it says is necessary.
I never experienced a company making it that hard just to delete my account.
What are the exact steps I need to do so I can delete my account?
Thanks & cheers,
Ingo
You cannot delete your account because it is is named as contractually responsible for some things.
You need to get rid of those responsibilities, either by shutting them down, or by passing them to someone else.
First, go into the accounts that are set for auto-renew and turn them all off, that may be enough to allow delete, if there are no other blocks.
If not, then you are going to have to go through all the accounts and either shut down the services you are responsible for, or nominate other people to be responsible for them.
