partial code to testing

Evan Cutler January 16, 2013

I have a large website I am building.

V1.0 has five components.

The leadership wants me to put into staging and testing each component as they are feature complete.

I am still new to JIRA and build management.

I infer from all build management documentation that you don't do a build until you are code complete for V1.0. What kind of "issue tracking" does one use for partial completeness...ie, i want to put up two components for testing and bug reporting?

thanks.

Define a project and define the components if you already know it. As you keep developing and your users find issues request them to report.

Also for tracking your project progress itself you need or can use JIRA with all your Epics/Stories and sub-tasks being tracked in JIRA

And you should be looking at Bamboo also if you are looking a continous deployment, not just JIRA
