I opened a PR on 09 Nov 2023. On that day Bamboo created plan branch and run the build plan linked with the repository. The PR is still not merged. Today I pushed more commits to the PR but the build wasn't run. Plan branch is already gone because Bamboo was configured to delete it after 30 days (the default value I think). Is it expected that when plan branch is removed but new commits are pushed to the Git branch plan branch isn't re-created and build isn't run?
I worked around the issue today by removing the branch in Git and adding it again but IMO it's a wrong behavior.
I'm using Atlassian Bamboo version 8.1.3 build 80110 - 17 Feb 22
Hello Arkadiusz
Yes you are right this behaviour is similar to https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BAM-20608
Interestingly similar bug https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BAM-12161 was raised and fixed in Bamboo 6.10 but seems it's not working on latest versions.
I'll try to check internally within Bamboo product team to see if the fix can be expedited.
Regards,
