need to change authentication from jira to bamboo

We are decommissioning our on prem jira instance, so we will need to authenticate bamboo by itself NOT through Jira?

We are ultimately migrating from bamboo to github, and bamboo will be around for a little bit until all plans migrated etc..

During this time we would like to decom Jira, BUT is authenticating our bamboo with groups. users etc , can you help here community please?

Thanks for this,  OUR issue is that our crowd directory is configured to Jira AND we are decomming Jira, so we need to authenticate the bamboo instance with crowd instead. ?
