Dear All,

I have to create a task to Bamboo for automatically deploys reports (.rdl) and power bi reports (pbix) to our report server (2016).

I'm block on creating the task as I don't really know how to implemente that (trying use rs.exe but not working.

Help must be appreciate.
regards,

Xavier

Hi @Xavier

I afraid Bamboo does not have a specific task for this, but you can still do it using other more general tasks. Suggested steps moving forward:

  1. Make sure you are capable of deploying your reports using CMD or Powershell (I'm assuming you are using Windows)
  2. If the whole thing can be done with just one command, use a Command task
  3. If you need multiple commands to do it, try a Script task

Please share here if you find any issues with this approach.

Hi Daniel,

thanks for your reply.
Yes, that's what I'm trying, to use a PowerShell command.

Thanks for the tips,
