Task to deploy rdl and pbix files (reports and power bi reports)

Question

Dear All,

I have to create a task to Bamboo for automatically deploys reports (.rdl) and power bi reports (pbix) to our report server (2016).

I'm block on creating the task as I don't really know how to implemente that (trying use rs.exe but not working.

Help must be appreciate.

Hi @Xavier

I afraid Bamboo does not have a specific task for this, but you can still do it using other more general tasks. Suggested steps moving forward:

* Make sure you are capable of deploying your reports using CMD or Powershell (I'm assuming you are using Windows)
* If the whole thing can be done with just one command, use a Command task
* If you need multiple commands to do it, try a Script task

Please share here if you find any issues with this approach.
