How to disable spec branch execution?

Hi,

is there a way to disable the new spec branch execution for bamboo branches (Java PlanSpec)? I want all my branches to be executed as plan branches to roll-out pipeline changes Repository wide for all my branches. 

This feature helps to test new pipeline features but forces me to rebase all my branches to get them.
