Getting Build Number Of A Project From Another Project Edited

Suppose I have a project called Project_A and it was built and deployed to a repository using Bamboo. I have another project let's call it Project_B which I would like to deploy to a different environment than Project_A.

If I would like to use the build number from Project_A to be used for Project_B's build number so that their numbers are in sync, is this possible? If this is possible, what would the Powershell script for grabbing Project_A's build number from within Project_B look like?

Modifying (and thus aligning) build numbers is not currently possible, but an often requested feature indeed - please watch and vote for the following issue to guide Atlassian's roadmap in this regard:
