Hi,
My question is about deployment environment variables values being tied in with release. Is this possible? Will these variables be snapshoted? At the moment Bamboo documentation says they are not snapshoted. Situation where I need this is when you need to rollback your deployment.
What I have now:
Release 1 where variable VAR is 1. Then I do second Release 2 where VAR is 2. I find out that Release 2 has bugs and I want to rollback. I go into environment, press rollback on Release 1 and Release 1 artifacts get deployed, but VAR has value 2!!! So this means that version of software will have incorrect variables values. I understand there are workarounds for this, but they are not nice. Is there something out of the box? Is this maybe in future plans to be released?
