Bamboo disk usage

Our bamboo server has a partition of 450GB and is 91% filled up.

From an infrastructure point of view, we have the possibility to make this partition bigger, but before we make that decision I would like to understand why/how it is possible the bamboo server needs so much disk space.

can anybody explain to me how this is managed in bamboo and maybe advise on things we can improve.

Some directions I think of:

  • settings that need to be tweaked
  • way of working with build plans?
  • Running an external script to cleanup
  • Generating a report based on the custom queries on the database that can help us identify/understand this ‘problem'

Any suggestions will be very appricated.

Thank you.

Please refer to the following KB that contains several recommendations, instructions, SQLs, etc for finding your "hot spots" and cleaning up space on your Bamboo instance:
