Bitbucket pre-migration checklist?

We are planning a migration from server to cloud of Jira Software, Confluence and Bitbucket.

So far i have only found two pre-migration checklist for Jira Sfotware and Confluence. I'm looking for also for the Bitbucket pre-migration checklist but i have only found this article:

Is there a pre-migration checklist for Bitbucket? Or it is not needed?

Hi @Patricia González :

There is a migration Assistant for Bitbucket

Cloud migration-assistant Bitbucket

As far as I know, there is no pre-migration checklist for Bitbucket. Only the Migration Guide you mentioned before. Otherwise, you can contact the support.

Some helpful information is here: Migration Program

Hope that helps

Hi @Astrid Sieben,

Thank you for you answer.

Do you know is there is no pre-migration checklist because with the cloud migration assistant the process is simple?

Hi @Patricia González ,

For BBS/BbDC to BBC migration, that is the only guide you need.

  • First, the BBC migration is not very complex
  • Secondly the BCMA tooling have PFCs (pre flight checks) which will guide if something requires to be changed in the Server or DC environment.

Please run a test repo migration and familiarise yourself. Otherwise, you can always contact the support.

Hope this helps.
