Greetings, community!
Has anyone noticed that the community notifications (i.e., under the bell icon at the top-right of page) seem incorrect today?
Specifically, when an article (or question) has a new post, the notification shows the date/time of the original article and links to the top, rather than to the latest post.
Thanks!
A bug has been generated for this.
Thanks, @Jack Brickey

Greetings, community!
In hindsight, I should not have marked this as answered as it is still "broken". This issue makes it quite difficult to determine what content needs follow-up.
To any community leaders or Atlassian peoples seeing this: who knows if this change is intentional, broken, something else?
Thanks for your thoughts!

They are aware of the issue and TBH I would have expected it to be resolved by now. I will ping them again.

Hi, we have a bug for this internally. I don't believe this change was intentional, but it appears to be grabbing the original post date/author when it should be grabbing the user/date that posted an update to a watched thread. I can see this issue has been planned for a future sprint at least, but I don't have a clear timetable on when it might be fixed.
I'll try to keep an eye on it and let you know when a fix is planned to ship for this.
Andy

This appears to be fixed. Thanks, Atlassian team!
Now if we could improve the feed so all the updates show the actual date/time of the event, rather than some showing "yesterday", etc. :^)

Yes!!! For example, these two notifications came up today right in the middle of several other notifications from today and yesterday.

@Bill Sheboy , no and it is frustrating. Let me check with the Atlassian team.

Yay! There seems to be some new features add as well but could be mistaken. I don’t recall seeing my replies listed in the activity feed. Oddly these notifications appear out of sequence with the notification from the other party.
More observations and analysis is needed here.
