Can I update the text of a question?

If I see a question that lacks polish (typos, grammar, capitalization errors) or that's missing information that would make it easier to find, how can I update it or flag it for someone else to update?

You can earn edit priveleges with karma points. Check the FAQ for a table.

Thanks, that makes sense. What should people do to highlight content that needs attention before they have "edit" privileges? I assume they're supposed to use the "report" feature?

Once you get 400 karma points you can edit other people's posts:

The author of a question can edit it after the fact.

There's also the ability to "report" a question. I plan to flag errors I see that way until someone has a better suggestion.
