Now available: IP allowlisting for Atlassian Analytics!

We're thrilled to announce a new feature now available in Atlassian Administration - IP allowlisting for Atlassian Analytics. This feature empowers admins to enhance the security of their Analytics data by restricting access to specified IP addresses.

With IP allowlisting, organization admins can now control who can view and interact with Atlassian Analytics, ensuring that sensitive data remains protected and accessible only to authorized individuals within the approved IP range. Check out our support documentation for detailed instructions on how to set up IP allowlists.

This valuable addition to our toolkit in Atlassian Administration reflects our ongoing commitment to providing robust security measures and empowering admins with the tools they need to safeguard their organization's data effectively.

Stay tuned for more updates and enhancements as we continue to evolve and improve the Atlassian Analytics experience for our community.

Rotate your data share credentials to use IP allowlisting for data shares

Data shares comply with IP allowlisting, ensuring that reading and exporting from the Atlassian Data Lake are authorized only within your specified IP range.

Data share credentials created from September 23, 2024, have this functionality enabled.

Credentials created before September 23 will stop working on December 9, 2024. You need to create new credentials to replace them and take advantage of IP allowlisting benefits.

As a best practice, we recommend you rotate credentials every 60 days.
