Hi folks, we’re happy to share another set of new improvements to Atlassian Analytics and Atlassian Data Lake. As you continue to set up your own dashboards, we hope you’re finding value and utilizing the product to unlock new insights for your organizations. Keep reading to see what’s new in October!
There are two new starter dashboards available for Jira Software focused on flow metrics for value stream management analytics! Flow metrics measure how much value is being delivered to the customer through the product’s value streams. To get these new dashboards, add a new Atlassian Data Lake connection with Jira Software data to your Analytics workspace.
In case you missed our announcement, we've added the ability to edit existing Atlassian Data Lake connections! To add new Jira projects or include more product data in a Data Lake connection, your organization admin can edit this from the Connection tab in its settings.
We are happy to share that value labels are now available in pie charts. You can enable value labels by going to Series tab in the chart settings.
Earlier this month, we introduced a change in the “Jira Issue Field” table to improve the usability of multi-valued fields. Read the full announcement for more details.
Our team is also rolling out a new Jira data flow to increase the quality and reliability of your data in the Atlassian Data Lake. The change will address things such as cleaning up deleted issues and better ensuring your data in the Data Lake is accurate and up to date. While we transition to the new data flow, you may notice data taking more time to be visible in the Data Lake, but we expect it to be of minimal impact.
