Hi,
I got a doubt about SAML activation, we have external user from different domain who access to specific confluence space, the domain is not ours. So, i want to activate the SAML but i have the doubt if those users could still login. If not, is there any way to do it with SAML?
Thank you.
Hello Fran,
Thank you for getting in touch with Atlassian Community!
When you verify the domain and activate SAML on your instance, the users from this verified domain will be able to use SSO and you will be able to manage their accounts (change email and full name for example).
The users who are not from this domain will be able to log in normally but using their email and password.
So, users with a verified domain will add their email to login and a message will appear saying that they must log in using SSO, the other users, after adding the email, it will show the space for their password.
Hope this helps!
If you have any other question, please let us know.
Regards,
Angélica
