We answer questions, welcome new users, give high fives, moderate the community, help with technical issues, announce new community features, and always welcome your feedback and input.

Monique van den Berg
Has been managing the online Atlassian Community since its launch in April 2017. She is located in the San Francisco Bay Area 🌤
She leads the most outstanding community team in the biz. She loves GIFs, exclamation points, and emojis. 😍

Silke S
Joined Atlassian's community team in June 2024, taking on the role of Community Manager. With many years of experience in enterprise community operations, she is excited to support the Atlassian online community.
Located close to Seattle, Silke lives with her husband and their three dogs. During her free time, she enjoys extended weekend getaways, plays VR games, or simply unwinds in her backyard.

Angelie Stephens
First joined Atlassian as a Community & Social Engagement Specialist for the EMEA region in October 2022.
Her first foray the Atlassian Community was during Jobs & Careers month in September 2023, and she's super excited to spend more time here as a Community Manager.
Angelie is from London, and loves discussing television, food & dogs.

Kate C
Joined Atlassian in December 2017 originally in billing & licensing. With stints in the Austin and Sydney offices, Kate worked in the social engagement team before joining Community in 2023. Simply put, Kate's favourite thing is to help people get the support they need, whether that's across our social channels, or in our community.
Now living on the west coast of Australia & covering the APAC region, Kate spends her time with her husband & two daughters and dreaming of visiting coffee shops around the world.

Evie Z
A newly minted Atlassian 👶🏻, coming into play August 2025. Evania is a community specialist whose love for online communities was built on manga, anime, and cosplay 🩵. You will see her supporting her team in all things gamification 👩🏻💻.
Originally from Mojave desert 🏜️, but currently based in Nashua, New Hampshire. She spends her time deeply appreciating nature 🍀, avoiding traffic, or people watching in the cities . She is always on the hunt to find the best Reuben 🥪 in any given location.

Mohammed Shakhib
A fresh face in the Atlassian universe  , joining the Community Management team as a Community Content Specialist in November 2025. Based in Bangalore, India, Shakhib brings a passion for building vibrant online spaces and a knack for moderating meaningful conversations.
When he’s not supporting the community or crafting engaging content, you’ll find him gaming  , planning his next travel adventure  , or seeking out the peace and beauty of the mountains  . As a self-proclaimed mountain person, he’s always up for a chat about the best hiking spots or the latest in gaming.

Summer Mahmoud
Returning as a full-fledged Atlassian after interning last summer, Summer enjoys connecting with others, learning new things, and contributing to the Atlassian Community. She is based in the bay area.
When she’s not supporting the community, you’ll find her listening to music 🎶, trying new foods 🍜, exploring different cultures 🌍, or diving into new ideas 💡. She loves discovering what makes people and communities unique and is always up for a conversation that broadens her perspective.
